i The first thing I noticed, or failed to, was any fear of heights, strange attitudes, turbulence, etc. When you're flying according to instructions, there isn't time to think about whether it's scary or not. For some reason, it feels perfectly normal.

Taxied out and took off HNL 22R assisted by Jason's instructions. Flew basics from Cessna Course Lesson 1. Jason was going to let me attempt landing (4L), but thought better of it because of 10 K tail-wind on approach. This was apparently because they turned the active runways on us while we were out, but the landing on 4L wasn't upwind. Those are the hazards of landing at Bravo airports. Not like a small field where you get to pick based on the windsock...
