CPC 22 is an "instructor evaluation" where the primary instructor rides along and goes over a list of maneuvers, some of which are from the beginning. The "hood time" in this case "foggle" (view limiting device) time was probably the most challenging. I'm always a little aware that the person on my right is fallible, and that there are mountains to the west. So far, Jason's kept us out of the mountains. Gotta work on the scan, and, as I did yesterday on the solo, pay attention to trim. Trim is good. My chronic problem is letting altitude wander when I get distracted, and if the plane's trimmed for straight and level, it all gets easier.

A somewhat turbulent morning, but today was the day for it, since you want to practice in lumpy air and checkride in same or smoother, not the other way around.

Passed the practice writtens last night, shooting for Saturday on the real one.
