Unofficial CobbleBot info pointers

This page is intended to point to useful info to help you if you are in the process of assembling Cobblebot, and making it work.

Firstly:

The assembly instructions are available as a product, on the cobblebot.com web site. You need to log in, and “buy” the PDF file for $0.00. If you have trouble adding it to your cart, try adding it to the wishlist and then using the wishlist interface to move it to the cart.

The above link lands at page 17. Prior to that it was a discussion about building before the Cobblebot build instructions were made available. I suggest reading from 17 and taking some notes.

“Firmware”

As the official instructions point out, getting the firmware into the Arduino Mega is a matter of downloading and compiling Marlin (http://reprap.org/wiki/Marlin), and configuring it with the proper numbers, which are included in the most recent instructions from CobbleBot.
