Well, the solo's getting imminent, but the weather's not cooperating...

We flew through rain on the north departure from HNL; the took this photo of a rainbow looking at Pearl Harbor. We went off the Waianae coast to finish up some checklist items from lesson 10 (power-on stalls, emergency descent), and then headed into Kalaeloa for landings. I don't know how pretty they were, but I gained some confidence about gettting it on the ground. Fourth time around, tower said to make a left pattern for 4L, which has been previously under construction, staying short of runway 11: easier said than done, we scrubbed it and went home (that's the tight little loop north of Kalaeloa (purple) on the flight map).

Jason says to remember to pick him up after the solo. Somehow, it seems like something I'd miss. I'll put a postit on the panel...
